It’s not a big or elaborate project—just a small step forward as we learn how to record and share what we make. Below is a YouTube Short created from the very first test footage we captured. It’s simple, a little wobbly, and occasionally out of frame, but that’s exactly what we wanted: something honest and interesting as we learn the process. The full stitching session took about 90 minutes, so we sped it up to keep the video short enough for TikTok and YouTube Shorts. For this test, I followed a pattern I found on Pinterest and stitched a quick 20‑by‑20 design. Greetings, friends. I’ve tried blogging before, but it never quite found its center. This time, though, I’m stepping into it with a clearer purpose. My wife and I have been pouring ourselves into all kinds of craft projects lately — the kind that leave our home sprinkled with paint drips, stray threads, bits of plastic canvas, and the occasional perler bead that somehow ends up in the hallway. It’s messy, joyful, and very us. Over time, people have started asking if we share our process anywhere. YouTube? TikTok? A blog? Something? After giving it some real thought, I’ve decided it’s time to start saying yes. So here I am, starting fresh.
